Meet The Designer

I grew up in a small town on the Western Slope of Colorado with 4 sisters, a brother and my mom and dad. I was an overachiever in school and in my younger years thought I was fat and not athletic. In 7th grade I tied the High School 440 yard dash record and became an instant track star and eventually a long distance runner – 17 marathons in all. I still run some, my Peloton is my happy place and I love to hike in beautiful Colorado.

I went to Brooks College in Long Beach, CA when I graduated from high school and studied interior design, but did not finish my degree at that time. I went on to get my Bachelors and Masters degrees several years later and have enjoyed a successful 30 year career in Human Resources. I am an avid problem solver and have led many winning teams and gained the respect of operators – often hard to achieve when you work in Human Resources.

Throughout the years I’ve never lost my appreciation for organized and beautiful spaces and have had a great deal of fun decorating my homes as well as helping others. I’m so glad to be a part of the Decorating Den Interiors Family. They have amazing training, top notch team members and keep me updated on all the latest trends with an amazing variety of suppliers and designs for any style or budget. I’m looking forward to helping you create beautiful and comforting rooms indoors and out, designed especially with you and your family or business in mind!
