Washington Park Home – Bedroom

Location: Denver

Designer Credits: Sandy Schuster

Project Overview:

The client had a king-size mattress but no other furnishings in the bedroom. The walls were damaged and needed fresh paint, and the existing window treatments were simple room-darkening shades that lacked style. The goal was to transform the space into a cohesive and inviting bedroom with a balanced mix of elegance and masculinity.

Sandy refreshed the walls with a new coat of paint and added wallpaper to two accent walls to bring depth and character to the room. A bedroom set with a gray weathered finish and antique brass accents was selected to coordinate with the existing window shades and ceiling fan. The antique brass details also complemented the gold tones in the wallpaper, adding warmth and sophistication.

To soften the space, sheer window panels were installed to frame the windows, while antique brass side table lamps provided both function and a touch of vintage charm. To balance the feminine and whimsical elements of the wallpaper, Sandy chose masculine bedding, ensuring a well-designed and harmonious space.
